Explanation
The term "Morality" is not included in the Preamble of the Constitution of India. The Preamble is an introductory statement that sets out the fundamental principles, values, and objectives of the Constitution. It reads: "We, the people of India, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic and to secure to all its citizens: Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity."
The Preamble enshrines the ideals and aspirations of the Constitution and outlines the purpose and scope of the Constitution. The term "Socialist" was added to the Preamble by the 42nd Amendment Act of 1976, which also added the words "Secular" and "Integrity" to the Preamble. The Preamble reflects the spirit of the Constitution and serves as a guiding document for the interpretation and application of the Constitution.
