Swami Vivekananda was a disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahansa.
He was a prominent Hindu monk, a chief disciple of Ramakrishna, and one of the key figures in the introduction of Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world. Vivekananda was greatly influenced by Ramakrishna, who he considered to be his spiritual mentor and guide. He spent several years as a disciple of Ramakrishna, learning from him the principles of Vedanta and the practice of spiritual discipline. After Ramakrishna's death, Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission to propagate his teachings and serve humanity.
