1. Sarojini Naidu - Uttar Pradesh (1947-1949)
2. Padmaja Naidu - West Bengal (1956-1962)
3. Sharda Mukherjee - Gujarat (1971-1976)
4. Jyoti Venkatachalam - Kerala (1977-1980)
5. Pratibha Patil - Rajasthan (2004-2007) and later served as the President of India from 2007 to 2012.
6. Renuka Ray - Himachal Pradesh (1977-1981) and later served as the Governor of Karnataka from 1982 to 1983.
7. V. S. Ramadevi - Himachal Pradesh (1997-1998) and later served as the Governor of Karnataka from 2001 to 2002.
8. Rajinder Kaur Bhattal - Himachal Pradesh (2009)
9. Sheila Dikshit - Kerala (2014) and later served as the Governor of Kerala from 2014 to 2019.
