Here is a list of Indian astronauts who have flown to space in chronological order:
1. RAKESH SHARMA - flew aboard the Soyuz T-11 spacecraft launched on April 2, 1984, as part of the Soviet Interkosmos program.
2. KALPANA CHAWLA - flew on Space Shuttle Columbia mission STS-87 on November 19, 1997, and STS-107 on January 16, 2003.
3. SUNITA WILLIAMS - flew on Space Shuttle mission STS-116 on December 9, 2006, and on two long-duration missions aboard the International Space Station in 2006-07 and 2012-13.
4. RISHI SHARMA - flew on the Soyuz MS-08 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) on March 21, 2018, as part of the joint collaboration between ISRO and Roscosmos.
5. KAILASAVADIVOO SIVAN - although he did not go into space himself, he served as the project director of the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) in 2014, which successfully placed an Indian spacecraft into Mars orbit.
